- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Africa-Canada Impact Exchange Inc. (“ACIE”) website or registering for any ACIE program, event, summit, training, or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, you should not proceed with registration or payment.
- Services Offered
ACIE organizes and delivers:
- International conferences, summits, and trade events
- Training and institutional exchange programs
- Business and government networking platforms
- Delegation visits and tourism-linked experiences
Services may be delivered in-person, virtual, or hybrid depending on program design and external conditions.
- Pricing & Payment
- Prices for ACIE programs vary depending on the event, package, or service selected
- All pricing will be clearly displayed at the point of registration or purchase
- Full payment is required unless otherwise stated
- Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
By completing payment, you:
- Authorize ACIE to charge the full amount
- Confirm acceptance of applicable refund conditions
- Agree to these Terms and Conditions
- Nature of Services (Bundled & Multi-Component)
ACIE programs may include multiple components such as:
- Event participation and registration
- Immigration support coordination
- Accommodation and logistics
- Transportation and tourism services
- Business networking and facilitation
These services may be delivered by ACIE and/or third-party partners.
- Refund & Participation Policy
All registrations and purchases are subject to ACIE’s Refund & Participation Policy.
Participants are advised to review the policy before completing payment.
- Immigration Disclaimer
- ACIE does not provide immigration advice, legal services, or representation
- Immigration services are delivered exclusively by licensed professionals through official partners
- Participants enter into separate agreements with immigration service providers
- Visa approvals are determined solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or relevant authorities
- ACIE does not guarantee visa approval
- Third-Party Services
Certain program components may be delivered by independent third-party providers, including:
- Hotels and accommodation providers
- Transportation companies
- Tourism operators
- Immigration partners
ACIE is not responsible for:
- Third-party performance
- Service delays or disruptions
- Refund decisions of third-party providers
- Service Initiation & Non-Refundability
Participants acknowledge that once any component of a service has been:
- Initiated
- Confirmed
- Reserved
- Booked
- Processed
That component becomes non-refundable
- No Partial Refund Policy
ACIE programs may be offered as bundled services.
No partial refunds will be issued for:
- Unused services
- Missed participation
- Travel disruptions
- Visa refusal
Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by ACIE in writing.
- Event Changes
ACIE reserves the right to:
- Modify speakers, schedules, venues, or program structure
- Adjust delivery format where necessary
Such changes do not constitute grounds for refund.
- Event Cancellation
If ACIE cancels a program, participants will be offered:
- A full refund, OR
- Credit toward a future ACIE program
- Code of Conduct
Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
ACIE reserves the right to:
- Deny participation
- Remove participants without refund
For misconduct or violation of program rules.
- Limitation of Liability
ACIE shall not be liable for:
- Visa refusals or delays
- Travel disruptions
- Third-party service failures
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACIE’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the registration component of the program.
- Force Majeure
ACIE is not responsible for disruptions caused by:
- Government restrictions
- Travel bans
- Public health emergencies
- Natural disasters
- Labor disputes
- Media & Photography
By participating in ACIE programs, you consent to photography, video recording, and media use for promotional purposes.
- Intellectual Property
All ACIE content, branding, and materials remain the intellectual property of Africa-Canada Impact Exchange Inc.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Terms, Refund & Visa Acknowledgment
By completing this payment, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee
USD $1,000 of your package is a non-refundable registration fee covering event planning, logistics, and administrative costs. - Immigration & Visa Processing
Visa support services are provided by licensed immigration partners under separate agreements. All immigration-related fees are non-refundable once processing has commenced. - Third-Party Services
Accommodation, transportation, and tourism services are provided by independent partners. Any refunds for these services are subject strictly to the policies of those providers. - Visa Refusal
Visa refusal or delay does not qualify for a refund of registration or immigration-related fees. Event credit may be considered at ACIE’s discretion. - No Guarantee of Visa Approval
ACIE does not guarantee visa approval. All decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). - Bundled Package Notice
This is a bundled international package. Certain components become non-refundable once initiated or confirmed. No partial refunds will be issued except where required by law.
